Hi Lanre...
It's been forever, you know. I was talking to a few friends from St. Pauls about having a reunion, and meeting all our friends we haven't seen for so long. We were making plans.
Then I get a mssg from one of us this morning saying "Lanre passed on"... I had no idea who she meant. she then said "Lanre Sanu!"
I'm still in shock. I wish we had known earlier. I have tears in my eyes now, knowing we won't see you, you won't be at the reunion, smiling and laughing with us. God knows best. He knew what he was doing when he took you. We are only left with the memories to hold and cherish.
I pray God gives your family the strenght to carry on.
You were a good person - kind, friendly, intelligent.
Rest with The Lord, rest with the Angels.
We will surely miss you. 

I just wanted to stop by and say hi and that I miss you. I only knew you for the few minutes you were with us at the lake but I wouldn't trade those few minutes for the world. I just wish it didnt have to be you and I wish I hadn't of had to watch it. I was so angry with you for not putting the life jacket on when we told you to but now I know god was ready for you. I'll see you soon ray. 

Just wanted to stop by to tell you I MISS YOU and you are in my thoughts. I think of your strength at a young age and all the things you did and lives you touched, and it gives me hope. So thank you for being someone I can always look up to, Ray (sunshine, light). Love you bro!!

You brought light to your family and friends and though you are gone like a candle in the wind, we would always remember the sunshine and the brightness you brought to us. Till we meet again in eternity, adieu.

lanre,u might have lived a short life but the reaction being currently elicited,it is obvious you weren't a flash in the pan,but a "toucher of people's lives",you are a irrefutable proof that its not how long but how well.my prayer now is for the grace of God to abide with your family at this time of their lives and i believe that God will see them through this tough period and will bring them into a rest.

Ray, We will all miss you. You have touched each of our lives one way or the other most especially, how every body smiles and laughs whenever you were around.  The way you made each of us smile, may the Lord make your Family members laugh from now on in Jesus Name, Amen.  This is an invitation for the rest of us to stop by Ray's Comedy Club in heaven, as I know Ray will have VIP passes for us when the time comes.  Meanwhile, Lanre rest in perfect peace.
